A house over a century old, originally designed by Frank Brewer, carefully restored by RichardHO Architects with a new one-storey extension. I worked on it through design development, authority submissions and compliance, and construction (not as Qualified Person).

The extension carries the spirit of the Brewer edifice into contemporary materials. The deep overhanging eaves and articulated structure parallel the original design principles, whilst its visually lightweight materials create a quiet juxtaposition of eras, allowing the grande dame to retain her spotlight.
