The original layout had the kitchen entrance tucked along the main corridor, fracturing the spaces into distinct and dark rooms.
By removing the wall and utilising discrete pocket doors, the living spaces and the kitchen are merged – allowing for ease of flow between the spaces. These spaces are further coalesced by the long dining table, which visually extends into the kitchen and doubles as additional counter space.
The materials palette was kept simple – light oak and white walls help expand the spaces, while the track lighting highlights key features of the space.
